Thanks to a recommendation, I decided to check out the Kdrama “The Greatest Love”. This drama was hilarious. The main male lead had the funniest laugh, was sort of eccentric and just plain funny.

I really liked the fact that the lead characters weren’t really young. Being 29, I’m not really into the whole young flower boy look. I much prefer, a more mature looking man (although in this case, his character wasn’t really mature).

The plot line is basically a former pop star, Gu Ae-jung played by Gong Hyo-jin whose been plagued by bad rumors, gets mixed up with a very famous, arrogant movie star named Dokko Jin played by Cha Seung-won.

Their interactions are pretty funny, but this is also really a very beautiful love story. It did have some intense moments as well, where I really didn’t know what was going to happen next.

Overall, I’d say it was one of the funniest dramas I’ve personally seen. In the first episode alone I laughed so much.

Check it out if you haven’t seen it. Let me know your thoughts if you have.

Final thought: Adorable kids make good dramas better
